Unfollow Finder works from a file Instagram already gives you. No login, no account access, no exceptions.

The problem with every other tracker

Search for an Instagram unfollow tracker and you'll find dozens of apps. Almost all of them want the same thing first: your Instagram username and password.

Handing that over is worse than it sounds. Those apps log into your account from their servers, which Instagram treats as suspicious activity. Users report shadowbans, action blocks, and in some cases losing the account entirely. And you've now given your credentials to a company you know nothing about.

How ours works instead

    Instagram gives you your own data

    Settings → Your Activity → Download Your Information. It's a feature Meta built, and it's yours to request whenever you like.

    We only need two files from it

    followers_1.json and following.json. Nothing else in that export is relevant, so we don't touch it. Why just two.

    Your browser does the comparing

    The free tool reads both files on your device and works out who doesn't follow you back. The files never get uploaded.

Where we do store something

There's one thing the free tool can't do: tell you who unfollowed you. Detecting that needs two scans to compare we have to know someone was there before to notice they've gone.

So on Pro accounts, we save the usernames from each scan. Ten scans at a time, usernames only, and a Delete my data button in your dashboard wipes all of it whenever you want.

We'd rather say that plainly than claim we store nothing and quietly do otherwise. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
